I restore old and unwanted furniture to create new and unique pieces for the home. I have used various techniques over the years to create different looks from 'mid century modern' to 'faded grandeur'. My preferred method for transforming furniture is 'tempera antica' a technique I learnt in Italy using egg white paint and pigments. I also use waxes, varnishes, gilding, stencils and decoupage to transform furniture. I love looking for old furniture to restore, but I also work with clients to refurbish existing furniture to create something perfect for their homes. I strive to use all water-based and eco-friendly products when restoring furniture.

Below are some guide prices for basic refinishing of external surfaces (preparing, painting and waxing/top coat, all materials). If a piece needs repair work, wood worm treatment; you want transfers, stencils, or an intricate layered and waxed finish, the cost would increase. Get in touch to find out more!
